Lena Lu Bomboloni takes the typical Donut to the next level.  From our Perth Australia based kitchen our team developed our speciality Bomboloni with an Aussie twist – these are unique style Donuts or as we like to call them “Little Bombs”. 

Lena Lu is now operating worldwide with a new store in Dubai and another store in the pipeline for Indonesia....stay tuned.  


The delicious Bomboloni family recipe was passed down from a very talented Sicilian Grandmother called Lena. We are proud to produce this unique dessert with an Australian twist and have been overwhelmed with the feedback and support we have had from our customers.         

Bomboloni is a Yeast Raised Style Donut which is filled from the top with a variety of amazing fillings.  Our bomboloni is not to be confused with traditional donuts - our donuts are unique, less oily and a complete taste experience of their own.  We use natural ingredients and each batch takes over 5 hours to prepare using special secret techniques.  We also produce a donut cone with our traditional Bomboloni recipe and fill with amazing fillings and traditional Arancini with delicious savoury Italian fillings. 

Currently Bomboloni is a trending item and so far we have captured media attention throughout the world.  Most recently we have been featured in the Urban List, Qantas Travel Insider, Perth Now and the Guardian Express in the top donut companies in Australia.
